General update

I've been a bit slack about updating this recently. I'll try not to let that happen again. Here's a very quick rundown of what I've been doing;

  • Went to my second Manchester Speculative Fiction workshop last night. I'm already finding this group massively useful, and it's getting me writing more often. That's a very good thing.
  • My story Mnemosyne has been shortlisted for the anthology I wrote it for. Fingers crossed.
  • I went to see Primus on Tuesday. I'm going to write a full post about that, because it was incredible.
  • I've got a half-secret project in the works. I'll talk about that more when the details have been hammered out, but I'm very excited about it.
  • My good friend Peter Carrington had his degree show a couple of weeks ago, which was fantastic. I'll do a full post about that as well.
Other than that I haven't been up to much, apart from listening to the new Alkaline Trio album and trying not to spend money that I should be saving ready for starting university again in September.

That's all for now. Regular posting will begin again, I promise.
